Tatweer Misr received an award for its active role in CSR and supporting Entrepreneurship with the presence of Egypt’s Cabinet members, CEOs and Top Businessmen. This comes as the company’s second presence in the event after the President and CEO of the company, Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, has been recognized as one the most influential figures in the real estate sector in the year 2018.
Over the past couple of years, the company took steady strides in enhancing the skills of early entrepreneurs enabling the leading developer which was only established 6 years ago, to leave a footprint on the entrepreneurial scene in Egypt.
This award was no surprise to the attendees as since its establishment, Tatweer Misr quickly created a persona for itself that revolves around supporting entrepreneurship and promoting innovation, due to being entrepreneurs themselves.
Commenting on the award Dr. Shalaby stated, “in short period of time, Tatweer Misr was quickly able to become a major player in the real estate market because we were able to be innovative in all our business operations. This allowed our team to create new and diverse concepts for each of our projects ensuring we stand out in a dense market.” He added, “Tatweer Misr made sure to hire a young, spirited team aiming to support our strategic vision to continuously remain innovative.”
He continued, “Since our inception, we paid very close attention to education and entrepreneurship as 2 main pillars for our CSR activities. We aim to enhance the Egyptian entrepreneurial ecosystem as it is necessary to develop the economy and accomplish sustainable development.”
As part of the company’s continuous efforts to enhance entrepreneurship it launched an annual Innovation Competition in 2017 as a first step towards empowering youth. Through this competition, the company sought to create a real competitive environment for the contestants, which reflected their creativity in a way that confirms Tatweer Misr’s determination to continue investing in organizing this competition to encourage business leaders to participate and win the competition.
