Tatweer Misr, the leading Egyptian real-estate developer, announced the winners of the third round of its annual innovation competition in the presence of executive board members as well as the judging panel.
The third round of the competition was announced during the Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2018, with a large number of students and graduates from the marketing and architecture departments of different universities. The qualified contestants showcased their innovative and creative ideas in front of the jury consisting of 6 members headed by Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, President & CEO of Tatweer Misr. The committee consisted of Eng. Baher Ayoub Senior Vice President, CEO projects & Board member, Mr. Sherif Seif El Nasr Marketing and Sales Consultant and Acting Vice President of Marketing and Sales -Tatweer Misr, Eng. Mostafa Fouda Director of Development and Design -Tatweer Misr, Ms. Aida Kabil Executive Marketing Director -Tatweer Misr and Mr. Mohamed El Kalla founding partner - Ahead of the Curve.
Seven contestants qualified for the final stage, four of them presented innovative ideas in the field of architecture and two reviewed different marketing ideas for ‘Fouka Bay' project, which was launched by Tatweer Misr in 2015 and operated during summer 2019 after the delivery of its first phase. The winners in the Architecture category are the start-up ‘’Green Mile’’ in the first place, while ‘’Personalizing Urban Space’’ in the second place.
All of the qualified contestants were honored by receiving a certificate for their innovative and promising ideas. The winners were awarded with a week-long entrepreneurship training in addition to participating in Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival in UAE. Tatweer Misr decided to honor the winners and their efforts to come up with these innovative ideas by signing a consultancy agreement to develop their ideas on a large scale and implementing their ideas in all Tatweer Misr’s projects.

He confirmed that Tatweer Misr aims to create a competitive environment channeling the participants’ innovative skills, through which the company is looking forward to investing more in the competition and improving it to encourage participants not only from Egypt but also from the MENA region to participate and to be recognized as an Innovation Competition winner.
